I'm enjoying 23 Things, tossing me out of my comfort zone onto my ear. It's about time something other than my children did that!! Its a great opportunity to do the things that you hear about at meetings and conferences, write down on notepads to "get to someday" and never really do.
Thanks for kickstarting my travels into cyberland!!

I have recently finished Testimony by Anita Shreve. This is the third selection of the recently formed Muddy Cup Coffee Shop Book Club. As facilitator, I became a tad alarmed when the first ten pages graphically described a prep school headmaster watching a video of several students having an orgy in a dorm room. (This will teach me to recommend books I haven't already read.) I'm hoping the group of vary aged ladies will not be too offended, I'm glad I didn't select this for the Y Senior Center book club!! The story is told in "Jodi Picoult" style, with each short chapter told from different characters points of view. After the initial shock, I found myself enjoying the interplay of characters. It reminded me of Crash because of the character development and ultimate interaction with each other. I've enjoyed other Shreve titles (Sea Glass, Light on Snow, Pilot's Wife) and would read more of her books.
